WE ARE RETIRED!!!
Thank you so much for visiting our website.  It has been such a pleasure doing business with so many great people, but the time has finally come for us to retire, therefore we will no longer be hosting cruises on the Island Oasis.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but insist you look to another company because cruising on the Delta is definitely worth every minute!  We wish you all the best. ~Captain Wendy.

WENDY FOULKS
~ Captain & Owner ~

Picture
United States Merchant Mariners, 100-ton Near Coastal with over 720 days at sea experience.
Wendy’s love for the ocean started in her home town, Whitehaven, England. Her Great, Great  Grandpa sailed around the world in 1863 as an able bodied seaman by the age of 14. Living in the  Indian Ocean on Seychelles islands through her 20’s, Thom and Wendy sailed through the Amirantes with an incredible Australian Captain Brownie on a beautiful Catamaran - Australian maid. For eight years they spent their weekends diving places yet undiscovered in the Seychelles, catching their own Lobster and Octopus. Summer of 2013 they sailed around the main islands of Seychelles again with their children.
Wendy loves the Delta and it truly is the best kept secret of Stockton. During the summer months with Stockton’s Mediterranean Climate the water is close to 80 degrees.
Wendy was Safety and Environmental Manager for the last 17 years and she brings those aspects to the cruise. Her goal to help your family and friends have access to an  incredible cruise that has taken our Family 30 years of experience to put together.
Wendy is also an ordained minister.

Jonathon FOULKS
~ First Mate & Engineer ~

Picture
Jonathon grew up on the river in Central California. He started boating at a young age, growing into a competitive wakeboarder at the age of 14. While getting involved in the wakeboarding industry his skills grew into being able to drive any boat to learning how to maintain and fix boats. He took a short break from the Maritime industry at 18, switching to commercial flying. At 19 Jonathon was a Multi-Engine Instructor Commercial Pilot who started teaching Domestic and Foreign pilots. His experience grew in aviation for 7 years. At which time he was offered an opportunity to gain his Maritime Engineering License.  While keeping his Commercial Pilot license current, Jonathon went through a tough 3-year training program, with a 40% retention rate, to earn his 3rd Engineer Unlimited Tonnage License. While in training and after being licensed Jonathon works for Island Oasis Delta Cruises as a Deck hand, Ski boat Driver and Engineer. His passion is to help others enjoy the water as much as he does.
